How We Work

We’re more than just a team of of builders; We’re a full-service business that takes your project dream and transforms it into a reality. Here’s how we do it:

1. Your Wish List

Whether you’re starting a new custom build or hoping to breathe new life into an existing structure, we’ll turn your passions, visions, and needs into a project plan that fits your budget and your wish list. Either On-site or at our local office, our drafting team will meet with you to discover your design style and learn about the features of your future project that are most important to you.

2. Pen to Paper

Our in-house team, or your architect of choice, will sit down and begin drafting to bring your wish list to life. Once we have our initial design, we’ll keep collaborating with you, visiting your site being certain to incorporate the available light, views; if any; and site topography into your design.  We ask our clients to visit their site at various times of the day; morning, noon and early evening.  This exercise is important so that we can orient the rooms in a manner relating to available light.  Our homes are known to be full of light, we believe in bringing the outdoors in.

3. Breaking Ground

Once the design & budget have been finalized, we’ll start the construction phase; which is very exciting.  We’ll meet with you on-site to verify foundation orientation and elevation.

4. Design & Style

At Sovereign, we pride ourselves on serving all of your specific building and design needs. Whether it’s plumbing, electrical, home automation, lighting, flooring, or cabinetry -- we make it easy to bring your visions to life. Sovereign crew members are expertly skilled in all the small details, and we can also direct you toward dozens of local design and outfitting specialists. Sovereign experts are here to guide you every step of the way.

5. Your New Home or Building
